Sutherlin Timber Town Toy Land Electric Light Parade

Every year, Sutherlin puts together a Light Parade to bring light to the community just before Christmas. It is our gift, our way of giving back, and bringing the Christmas Holiday to Sutherlin. The theme this year is 'Christmas Vacation'. There is NO charge to enter a float. All entries must have decorated lights. Cash prizes will be provided to the winners of the Light Parade. We will be judging four categories this year, by an independent panel of the public. The Categories are: A. Best of Theme B. Non-Profit C. Commercial D. Santa's Favorite The parade is scheduled to start at 7pm. To ENTER the parade as a participant, turn onto Taylor Road off Central, head South to the intersection of Hastings and Taylor Road. Registration will start at 5pm on Taylor Road. You will need to be lined up by 6:30 in order to be judged. The parade will head South on Taylor Road to Comstock, North to Central and East to the Sutherlin City Park. There will be an awards presentation in the Community Building at the end of the parade.
